The core of the MX5 Modular System is a cantilevered 5-foot base unit that features wide rungs, safety handrails, protective bumpers and padding, ball-bearing wheels, and a 3-piece interchangeable tool tray set.
The MX5+ can be used as a stand-alone ladder that provides excellent access to the transmission deck, engine, and tail-rotor driveshaft on a multitude of aircraft.
All components are finished with high-vis, anti-corrosion powder coating.

A wide range of extensions can be installed onto the MX5 to increase the ladder’s working height, enabling safe and ergonomic access to the aircraft’s upper flight controls, rotorhead, tailrotor, blades and more.
Extensions can be selected to best suite the specific aircraft, task at hand, and technician’s height.
The single-person Service Deck is a great option for heavier maintenance projects or when extra fall protection is desired.
Service Decks attach to the MX5 and includes guardrails, safety-gates, a laptop tray, and an 11″ booster step.
The fully modular, 3-person Maintenance Platform System (MXPS) is compatible with a multitude of aircraft and is the ideal package for heavy maintenance.
The entire system is collapsible and can be taken apart for easy storage, transport, or field-deployments.
