In 2019, Blue Moon Designs started their journey of supporting DoD agencies. At the early stages of Navy and USMC development programs, HeliLadder products were consider highly advantageous and vital to the mission. 

During such an altering and transitional environment throughout the United States Armed Forces, there comes an ever-growing need to provide multiadaptive ground support equipment. The MX5+ ladder-stands provided in the past are still compatible with ones rolling out today, and the Oregon National Guard still employs the original six purchased in 2015.

As flight programs change or shift to different priorities, HeliLadder equipment remains constant. While different attachments not currently in the NSN system could be useful, only a handful of configurations were originally available. Recently, development of new extension styles and base attachments have proven useful in supporting the boarding, overhaul, and shipboard operations of the F-35 Lightning II.

A number of new HeliLadder products have now been issued NSN’s with more to come. This opens up more configuration options, and more importantly, provides enhanced safety across the U.S. Military.
